Yeah, somebody will eventually come after them. I still think the Lindholm thing was one of the best things ever. At some point, other teams are going to throw that back in their face.

It's after the game, their fans like it, and it gives a fan base something to look forward to at the game's end.. No biggy. God forbid the players try to show their human side once in a while. If they did stupid shiiiit during game, like NFL, then it would be a different story

Meh. It's more about fan engagement and free press than it is about celebrating anyway. Yeah, it's dumb as hell, but it's made a bunch of people pay attention that wouldn't normally talk about them at all and has given the entire organization a sort of "us against the world" rallying cry, so win/win.

Lindholm and Johnny Boychuk both did it and, you know what? Fair enough. You can't do things like that and not expect somebody else to come after you for it eventually. Gotta be able to take it.

As for the Canes post game celebrations. I love it. I love it because it's fun and it gets people annoyed and angry. I hope they go full Midevil Times or Cirque De Sollei after they win.

Down by 20. Gets tackled short of the line to gain. Hops up and does a little shimmy and does the first down signal. Such a classic.

My favorite is the DBs that get toasted but the QB makes an awful throw and they make the incomplete signal like they have things locked down.

A 3rd for Zucc would be a real kick in the balls.
